This will not be the most indepth article you’re going to read today but I felt it was important to bring a tweet from Maggie Haberman of The New York Times to your attention. Sometimes, a single tweet can reveal far more about the people doing the tweeting than you can imagine.
Quick bit of context: Bill Clinton gave an interview this morning in which he discussed a scandal from 20 years ago. Like many at the Times, Maggie Haberman hates the Clintons and spent most of 2016 finding new excuses to savagely attack Hillary while spending most of 2016, 2017, and 2018 finding new ways to excuse Donald Trump. This morning, Donald Trump literally said he can pardon himself from any crime, which would make him a lawless tyrant.
Haberman, being a crack journalist, knew exactly what her priorities were:
And with this, he tamps down attention that would have been on Bill Clinton interview https://t.co/UbTle1Bzsg

Got that? A president literally declaring himself above the law, the penultimate step to turning America into a dictatorship run by the whims of an unaccountable emperor, is a distraction from gossiping about Bill’s blow job.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what Clinton Derangement Syndrome looks like in real time and it’s why Donald Trump is on the brink of destroying this country. Un-fucking-believable. The only bright spot here is that Haberman was raked over the coals on Twitter for her insipid obsession with the Clintons. Maybe the Times will take the hint and find a “journalist” less interested in Bill and Hillary and more interested in current events.
