Happy Tuesday! There is snow on the East Coast…on March 25th…Here’s what’s happening on the interweb:
The Obama administration is preparing to unveil a legislative proposal for a far-reaching overhaul of the National Security Agency’s once-secret bulk phone records program in a way that — if approved by Congress — would end the aspect that has most alarmed privacy advocates since its existence was leaked last year, according to senior administration officials. Somewhere, Bob Cesca, felt this happening inside his very core, and knew there was a disturbance in the Force.
Federal environmental officials now estimate more than 20,000 gallons of crude oil — double the initial estimates — leaked from a pipeline into a nature preserve in southwest Ohio. Proving yet again, that God hates Ohio.
On Record Store Day, Black Country Rock/Thirty Tigers will be releasing a record called Understanding and Appreciating Classical Music With Ron Jeremy, which will be a 7″ single of “adult film star Ron Jeremy performing and discussing classical music at a piano.” And while this may not be HUGE news, it’s definitely above average news.
Judy Murray, Andy Murray’s mom, has taken to “destroying Yoko Ono on Twitter” since last October. It is surreal, yet amazing.
"@yokoono: Make a promise to a tree. Ask it to be passed on to other trees." Treemendous. All I'm saying.
