Foster the People gave us one of best songs of 2010/2011 with Pumped Up Kicks, the kind of thing that was so infectious that if it had been an actual disease we’d all be dead right now. It was Part Pet Sounds-era Beach Boys, part Beck, part MGMT, all carefree indie cool, and certainly the most upbeat song ever written about a school shooting.
Now they’re back, with an upcoming album called Supermodel — and this is the first single from it.
