A Japanese tire company has come up with a novel way of getting audiences to pay attention to their adverts – by scaring the living crap out of them. Now doing the rounds on the interwebs, the commercial is being billed as “The Scariest Ad Ever”.
The ad ominously begins with a warning message which reads: “Not for the faint of heart. Please refrain from watching the content if any of the following applies to you: – Have any mental or physical health concern and may have to see a doctor regularly. We shall not be liable for any injuries, illness, and damages claimed to be caused by watching the contents.”
The ad begins with a view from a car going down an icy lane in the middle of a snow storm at night. A small girl appears in the road ahead, and the drivers stop to see what happens. Then…well…check it out (and be warned, it will definitely make you jump):
