WATCH: Tea Party Congressman Scolds & Shames National Park Service Ranger

Rep. Randy Neugebauer (R-TX), a tea party congressman, has taken the exploitation and politicization of the World War II Memorial in Washington, DC one step further by publicly scolding a National Park Service ranger tasked with keeping the memorial closed to visitors during the government shutdown.

Sorry, Mr. Neugebauer, that the National Park Service is preventing you from politically exploiting the memorial, but maybe you should look to your own incomprehensible tea party caucus, which instigated the shutdown in the first place. Additionally, rangers have been allowing legitimate veterans to enter the memorial site. Veterans. It should come as no surprise that Neugebauer, who was of draft age during the Vietnam War, never served in the military and reportedly received a student deferment.

You might also remember Neugebauer as the guy who shouted “baby killer!” at Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) on the floor of the House of Representatives.

Regardless, this is typical of the tea party crowd. The most dangerous place in the world is standing between a tea party congressman and a cheap political stunt.
