Twitter Troll Apologizes to Boxer on Live Television for Abuse

In perhaps the funniest story of the year, a Twitter troll got a taste of his own medicine after a boxer he had abused for months finally had enough and drove 47 miles to ‘have a word’ with the internet tough guy. You can check out a lengthy description of how it went down here (and it’s definitely worth it), but it ended up with the troll backing down and apologizing to the fighter.

Or so we thought.

In another surprising turn of events, the troll, revealed to be James O’Brian of Sheffield, England, agreed to go on national television to apologize to Curtis Woodhouse for his behavior. Check out how the meeting played out below:

Ben Cohen is the editor and founder of The Daily Banter. He lives in Washington DC where he does podcasts, teaches Martial Arts, and tries to be a good father. He would be extremely disturbed if you took him too seriously.
