I actually feel a little sorry for Mel Gibson as the man clearly needs help – I don’t believe he views himself as a racist misogynist, but there are elements of his personality that he cannot control that are most likely the remnants of a severely screwed up childhood. You only need to listen to his insane father to understand where much of Gibson’s dark side comes from.
