The introduction of the ‘double down’ sandwich, a horrific looking pile of fat, cheese, gristle and something resembling a winged creature marks a new low in the American fast food market. While the country battles a severe obesity epidemic , KFC is doing its bit to ensure those with the least access to healthy foods are now able to buy food products guaranteed to shorten their life span.
