If you haven’t read Malcom Gladwell’s news book ‘Outliers’, you really should. It’s a fascinating insight into the myth of individual success that cuts to the heart of American culture. Gladwell basically asserts that success is an amalgamation of time, luck and massive amounts of help rather than individual merit and genius.
