While the money is no doubt good at Fox News, it must be a rather humiliating affair going on air day in, day out, knowing that you work for the least trusted cable news network in America.

During a segment on Sunday on Media Buzz, Fox News host Howard Kurtz and pollster Frank Luntz were discussing a Monmouth University poll which asked whether the media regularly or occasionally reports fake news. Unfortunately for Kurtz -- a notorious Trump apologist -- the graphic that came up showed results from a completely different question that asked what cable news outlets people trusted more. Unsurprisingly, the network that features Sean Hannity and the Trump cheerleading team on 'Fox and Friends' came last by a very significant margin. Here's the accidental poll:

Coming at at a dismal 30%, Fox was 18% less trusted than CNN -- the so called "Fake News" network the president has spent the past two years attacking.

“That is not the graphic we are looking for,” Kurtz said, recognizing the acutely embarrassing mistake. “Hold off. Take that down, please.”

The numbers aren't great for any of the major networks, but that isn't entirely a reflection of CNN and MSNBC's failings if you do the math. Why? Because you can discount the 30% of respondents who believe that Fox is more trustworthy than the other networks. There is no sane person in America who believes the network that features racist conspiracy theorists and defenders of pedophiles is a legitimate source of news. Say what you want about MSNBC and CNN, but they still report facts and make sure their sources aren't insane

The poll question Kurtz was attempting to discuss shows that 77% of respondents believe cable news networks regularly report fake news. And thanks to the accidental poll graphic Fox put up, we know where the majority of it comes from.
