As much as Breitbart.com attempts to portray itself as a respectable publication catering to the “silent majority”, it has and always will be a front for vicious white supremacy. The editorial team at the Alt Right cesspit have struck upon a clever ruse that keeps enough advertisers on the site while slyly promoting racial intolerance and bigotry. Over the years, they have turned this into an art form, carefully selecting stories that will inspire virulent hatred from their maladjusted readers while appearing to just be "stating the facts".
This seemingly innocuous article on Michelle Obama was a perfect example of the race baiting Breitbart does -- they write fluff pieces on prominent African Americans knowing the hordes of racists reading it will click like mad for the opportunity to confirm racial prejudices or leave disgusting comments. The comments on another pointless piece about Madonna and President Obama were so vile it is a miracle the site didn't get flagged by the FBI for fomenting domestic terrorism. And if you had any doubt about any of this, Buzzfeed's powerful expose of Milo Yiannopolous and Steve Bannon's mission to smuggle white supremacy onto the site should clear up any misconceptions.
This week in Breitbart land, a grand opportunity to engage in some good old fashioned race baiting presented itself in the form of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle's announcement of their engagement. Breitbart ran a bog standard report on the news, but displayed it prominently on their front page (and no, we're not linking to it). Why? Because black and white people marrying triggers Breitbart readers like nothing else. Here is a small selection of the vast, vast number of disgustingly racist comments left by Breitbart readers:
Littered amongst the comments were nuggets of sanity from non-Breitbart readers who stumbled across this goldmine of racial hatred and bigotry:
With the Royal Wedding set for Spring of 2018, you can bet Breitbart will be covering the event relentlessly -- and not because their readers are obsessed with British royalty. The opportunity to bring every racist scumbag out of the woodwork and onto their website will be too much, and we'll see it turned into an apocalyptic event signifying the death of the white race and the liberal victory of multiculturalism etc etc. Of course Breitbart won't say this explicitly, but they'll select stories to imply it and sit back and watch the white supremacist traffic roll in.
