Trump's Latest Tweet is Proof He is Living in an Alternate Universe

President Trump apparently discussed setting up an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit so that election hacking, & many other negative things, will be guarded". Er, what?

According to president Trump, during his face to face meeting with Vladimir Putin, he discussed collaboration with the Kremlin on an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit," to prevent "election hacking":

If ever there was proof that Trump genuinely lives in a completely alternate universe, this tweet was it. We know that the Russian government hacked the US 2016 presidential election given the consensus is near unanimous in the intel community, and Donald Trump himself has admitted it is true:

Trump reportedly pressed Putin on the election hacking during their meeting too (via Business Insider):

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said Friday that President Donald Trump "pressed" Russian President Vladimir Putin on findings that Russia interfered in the 2016 presidential election, during what Tillerson described as a "very robust and lengthy exchange on the subject."

Tillerson said Russian meddling was discussed right at the onset of the pair's first bilateral meeting, at the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

To recap: Trump knows Russia interfered with America's election process and tried to subvert democracy, but he is now stating that he wants to collaborate with the government that hacked the election to build an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit," so that it can't happen again. This would be akin to chickens negotiating with the local fox on how to best build a new hen house after it had killed all their offspring. If Trump genuinely believes the public is stupid enough to buy this, then we know for certain that he resides in a universe that does not adhere to the law of cause and effect. In this universe, Russia will help the US build an "impenetrable Cyber Security unit" to prevent them from hacking the US election that they didn't actually hack.

Got that?
