If you want a preview of what life is going to be like under Donald Trump, look no further than this completely insane interview with future number two at the State Department John Bolton -- a comically senile nut job dredged up from the Bush administration.

Speaking on the potential Russian hacking of the US presidential election, Bolton, who was the United States Ambassador to the United Nations under George Bush, went full Alex Jones and declared Obama made up the hacking story to undermine Donald Trump.

“It is not at all clear to me just viewing this from the outside, that this hacking into the DNC and the RNC computers was not a false flag operation,” Bolton told Fox News reporter Eric Shawn on Sunday.

“A really sophisticated foreign intelligence service would not leave any cyber fingerprints,” he continued. “So the question that has to be asked is why did the Russians run their smart intelligence service against Hillary’s server, but their dumb intelligence services against the election?”

Bolton's argument is so fantastically stupid it is almost impossible to know where to begin -- but of course that isn't the point. While Bolton is an idiot, he understands the art of distraction and is floating his bonkers conspiracy theory to detract from the actual facts of the bombshell story. While there has been no concrete evidence of the Russian government directing the attacks, the fact that the CIA reached a "consensus" view that they were involved should at the very least spark an outcry from every politician on both sides of the aisle and incite a full scale investigation into the issue. But Bolton's role in all of this isn't to be a responsible adult (as one would expect from someone appointed to the State Department), it is to propagate whatever nonsense his idiot boss wants him to. Who knows, maybe Bolton does believe this was a "false flag" operation -- it wouldn't be surprising given his track record of extreme incompetence and all round stupidity.

This what we have to look forward to ladies and gentlemen -- complete and utter madness. And we've only just begun.
