On Wednesday, Montel Willliams was set to appear on The O'Reilly Factor from the Republican National Convention in Ohio, but due to an unannounced change in topic, the TV host walked out just before the segment began.
In typical O'Reilly fashion, the loudmouthed Fox News host took to his show to call Williams a "coward", then claimed Williams "walked out in a huff," because "he was mad about some gay thing."
That gay thing was of course the LGBT issues O'Reilly's team had told Williams the interview would be about given he had given a speech on the topic earlier that day.
"He will never be never be on this program again," said O'Reilly, continuing his tough guy act. "He's not a man of his word, he's unprofessional. That is about as low as it gets."
Well, Williams, who spent 22 years in the Marine Corps and the Navy, wasn't having anyone call him a coward, and in response to O'Reilly's attack, recorded the following evisceration which was about as devastating as you could get. Just watch:
It is unlikely O'Reilly will want to respond to much of this given the extraordinarily personal nature of the attack and the fact that Williams was being completely truthful.
O'Reilly is a gutless, philandering bully who chose to avoid serving his country at a time of war, then spent the next several decades blasting anyone who dared question America's aggressive militarism. For him to call a man who did what he did not have the courage to do a coward is the ultimate form of hypocrisy.
Deep down, O'Reilly knows this and will almost certainly shrivel up like he usually does when confronted with someone he knows has bigger balls than him.
