Yet Another Republican Investigation Clears Planned Parenthood of 'Selling Baby Parts'

Sorry, Carly.

The crummy mainstream media has found a way to spin this complete exoneration of Planned Parenthood into another "both sides" narrative about something completely unrelated and stupid, but Republican Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine has just completed his investigation into Planned Parenthood, and guess what?

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine today announced that his office has concluded its investigation into the alleged sale of fetal tissue by Planned Parenthood affiliates. While the investigation did not find any indication that fetal tissue was sold by Planned Parenthood affiliates in Ohio, the investigation did reveal that that aborted fetuses from Planned Parenthood facilities are ultimately disposed of in landfill sites.

See what he did there? Instead of the headline being "Carly Fiorina and company are big fat liars who inspired terrorist Rob Dear," rags like the Washington Freebeacon went with "Ohio Planned Parenthood Facilities Dispose of Aborted Fetuses in Landfills," which even according to Dewine isn't true. His report says only that remains ended up in landfills, and that Planned Parenthood contracts with medical waste companies who perform the disposals:

“Disposing of aborted fetuses from an abortion by sending them to a landfill is callous and completely inhumane,” said Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine. “It is important the public be aware that these practices are taking place at these Ohio facilities.”

And even according to Dewine, such disposal violates an Ohio law that has no definition, and no penalty:

The investigation showed that the disposal methods documented by the Planned Parenthood affiliates violate Ohio Administrative Code 3701-47-05, adopted in 1975, which requires that a “fetus shall be disposed of in a humane manner.”

3701-47-05 Humane disposition of the product of conception.

(A) The fetus shall be disposed of in a humane manner.

That's just a little bit subjective, but since the law doesn't specify a penalty, they could be making ceviché and Dewine couldn't do anything about it.

Planned Parenthood of Ohio released a statement on Dewine's report:

In response to the report released by Attorney General Mike DeWine this morning:

"This is simply not true. Planned Parenthood has contracts with vendors to handle fetal tissue in a respectful manner and in accordance with the law. It is irresponsible for the AG to say otherwise."

Mainstream outlets like Time have, of course, taken their cues from Dewine, instead of reporting the real news that Republican Mike Dewine has proven Carly Fiorina and her ilk to be dangerous, filthy liars.
