In a venomous, virtually indecipherable word salad posted on Facebook, Sarah Palin went after NBC's John Harwood, "leftists lapdogs," and even the GOP establishment for an array of perceived slights against her and the real American conservatives.
Bizarrely, much of the rant was directed at Republicans who Palin accused of not being able to "cure your shrinkage" in taking on the "breathlessly gleeful media celebrations of the democrats' knighted nominee's" - whatever that means.
If anyone could shed some light as to what the hell Sarah Palin is actually talking about, we'd be enormously appreciative. Here's the post:
John Nolte - we need to thank God you're there, calling out unethical reporters.
NBC - you need to fire your unethical reporter, John Harwood.
John Harwood - you need to act before you get fired. You lie. Don't be a weasel. Just resign.
GOP Establishment- you need to cure your shrinkage away from holding the left accountable. Obviously leftist lapdogs in the media lie about conservatives. You too often cowardly refuse to defend the mainstream media's target, choosing instead to slyly witness the conservative's record and reputation get pummeled. C'mon, GOP leaders. YOU MUST DO BETTER. We've got our hands full with things like the destructive, burgeoning $18 trillion U.S. debt receiving nary a yawn from old and new Republican machine operators. And, so tragically, with things like breathlessly gleeful media celebrations of the democrats' knighted nominee's "performance" at Benghazi hearings, as four grieving American families try to put one foot in front of the other in their never ending nightmare full of loss.
This sentence in particular is a brilliant example of Palinese: "You too often cowardly refuse to defend the mainstream media's target, choosing instead to slyly witness the conservative's record and reputation get pummeled."
A "witness" is a passive observer of an event, so it is unclear how Republicans are "slyly" witnessing these media attacks -- unless they are hiding in bushes while watching the interviews, or are illegally streaming NBC news shows on their laptops. Then there's the bit about Hillary Clinton being the Democrats' "knighted nominee". What?? Hillary Clinton was knighted?
And why has Palin decided to randomly put quotation marks around a the word "performance"? This would be like saying: Sarah Palin celebrates right-wing lunatic's online "posting" of easily disprovable garbage.
Palin is alluding to Clinton putting on a theatrical performance rather than being honest in the Benghazi hearings, but there's no need to put the word in fucking quotation marks.
