Lewis Black Responds Perfectly To Rush Limbaugh

You really can't say it any better than Lewis Black did.

On Tuesday, Rush Limbaugh pathetically tried to claim that Robin Williams killed himself because of liberal guilt, saying,

"What is the left’s world view in general? If you had to attach, not a philosophy, but an attitude to a leftist world view. It’s one of pessimism, and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they? And they’re animated in large part by the false promises of America because the promises of America are not for everyone. As we see each and every day."

Comedian Lewis Black -- the erstwhile Daily Show curmudgeon -- was not amused. You might even say he was a little pissed off when he took to Facebook on Wednesday morning:

Limbaugh has since said that he was “misquoted, purposely taken out of context” by -- of course -- that damn liberal media because if liberals weren't always twisting his words, they'd absolutely neverevereverevereverevereverever, be able to portray him as the callous gasbag everyone thinks he is.

On Tuesday, Black had recounted how he found out about the passing of his friend, and it reminded us that for all his hilariously angry antics onstage, he can shatter just as easily as anyone else. Here's his touching tribute.
