Washington Post Hacked by Supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad
Astonishingly, the recently acquired Washington Post appears to have been hacked by a pro Assad group in Syria. The New York Times was possibly attacked yesterday, but is claiming it was an 'internal issue'. From the Editors at the WaPo:
The Washington Post Web site was hacked today, with readers on certain stories being redirected to the site of the Syrian Electronic Army. The group is a hacker collective that supports Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
The Post is working to resolve the issue.
