And We Return to the Crazy Wing

Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (R-MN) thinks President Obama needs to be "spanked" and that his "magic wand should be taken away."  What?  He's had a magic wand all this time?  Shouldn't he have used that to get some legislation passed?  Watch the madness here:

Meanwhile, up in Alaska, Sarah Palin looks to be about to run for the US Senate in 2014.  Just as one heads out, another may be heading in:

And for 2016...  Governor Perry is hopping in (maybe he will memorize his talking points this time around?)  Here he is bowing out of the next gubernatorial campaign to ready himself for 2016:

Remember, he also just signed a bill that bans abortions but also tampons and pads in the Capitol building though guns are still allowed.  What?

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) wants in on the crazy train action and Jennifer Rubin wrote this detailing his recent mishaps.  He just hired Jack Hunter an operative who thinks the Civil War was a mistake.  Nice one!

And Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) has to return to crazy town to make up for his reasonable stance on immigration reform, I mean quelle horreur!  Reasonable thought in the Senate!  He is offering bills to ban abortion and repeal Obamacare, neither have a snowball's chance in hell. You can read about it here.

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) must be a part of any conversation on GOP insanity.  He is running for president in 2016 as is evidenced by his upcoming travel schedule, which includes stops in New Hampshire and Iowa.

This list will make Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI), who is equally as conservative but not as wacky or mean spirited the GOP's best shot in 2016.  And the fact that he is NOT running around the country campaigning (at least as not as publicly) will keep some of the scrutiny off, at least for now.
