Curtis Woodhouse: Don't insult him on Twitter

This has got to be the most epic and hilarious smack down of a troll in internet history. Curtis Woodhouse, a former professional soccer player and current professional boxer from England got abused by a Twitter user named 'Jimmyob88'‏ (later uncovered as James O'Brian) for losing to Shayne Singleton last weekend.

O'Brian tweeted the following disgusting comments at the fighter (who actually has a very respectful record of 17 wins,5 losses, particularly so given he took to the sport at such a late stage):

Rather than ignore the abuse, Woodhouse offered his followers a £1,000 reward if they could help him locate  the troll, and actually managed to track down O'Brian's address. Thinking it was still fun and games, O'Brian continued to goad Woodhouse:

Woodhouse then tweeted that he was on his way to his house, tweeting out the Trolls real name and street address:

Woodhouse hilariously gave a countdown to his arrival detailing how far he was away according to his sat nav, then putting up a picture when he arrived:

Unsurprisingly, O'Brian then when silent as he realized a professional fighter was on his street and looking to 'have a chat' with him:

O'Brian then tweeted out the following:

Thankfully for the O'Brian, Woodhouse took his moral victory and went back home without dishing out any real world punishment to the keyboard warrior. Woodhouse also picked up 9,000 new twitter followers and the adulation of, well, pretty much everyone. Tweeted former heavyweight champ Lennox Lewis:

So a message to the trolls out there: The technology that allows you to act like tough guys online also allows real tough guys to find you. So maybe think before tweeting out abuse to professional fighters....
