North Korea's Attack on Manhattan Video Stolen from 'Modern Warfare 3' Video Game

The Daily Banter Headline Grab. From Forbes:

North Korea has been making so much propaganda for so long, it can be easy to overlook at this point, but the world tends to take notice when you depict an American metropolis under siege by a missile attack. This is particularly troubling as the country is set to go forward with a new nuclear test despite international condemnation.

The video was posted on North Korea’s official YouTube channel, Uriminzokkiri, and features a dream sequence where a man envisions the US coming under fire by a hail of North Korean missiles which ravage a collection of skyscrapers in New York.

The only problem?

The video isn’t from North Korea’s assuredly excellent special effects team, rather it’s taken directly from a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 cutscene. You can’t make this stuff up.
