BuzzFeed compiles a list of Republican stupidity over the last year. My money is on this one:
According to Mizulina, giving birth to other people's children “is a phenomenon threatening not only Russia, but humanity as a whole with extinction." Yes, because having more children obviously equals less people on the planet...
A Fox News journalist claimed that a organization "formed from the ruins" of ACORN was receiving money from the federal government to help roll out Obamacare. The problem was, the organization has existed for 30 years, and hasn't received any money from the federal government. Welcome to the fictitious world of the right wing media.
Yes, he said something dumb about gay people, but solely focusing on that misses his broader "point."
The ACA is going to make things better for millions. Simple as that. But because getting there isn't as easy as plopping our fat asses down on the couch and ordering a movie by remote on pay-per-view, we whine like babies who got our binkies yanked out of our mouths.
Why the above quote? Why is it worth highlighting right now? Because it flawlessly sums up what the Tea Party Republicans are about and why they're doing this, and it tips their hand and gives all of us a good look at why they're so afraid of the Affordable Care Act. They're afraid of it because they know it will work.
