I hate to spend too much time on Hillary Clinton and her dying campaign, but Carl Bernstein has written an excellent article on the disconnect between Clinton and the truth. Bernstein argues that although Clinton largely has good intentions, her fear of failure gives rise to a questionable relationship with reality. In essence, she makes things up. Says Bernstein:
"Hillary Clinton has many admirable qualities, but candor and openness
and transparency and a commitment to well-established fact have not
been notable among them."
Let's hope for the good of the Democratic Party (or what exists of it) Clinton decides to bow out sooner rather than later. She can't win, and is simply making herself look silly the longer she stays in it.
