Sarah Palin Horrifically Mangles Brexit, Spouts Insane New Conspiracy Theory

Everyone knew that the political and economic union created in the wake of two devastating world wars that decimated much of Europe was actually a dictatorial socialistic cabal bent on taking away people's guns and forcing them to learn about evolution.

Leave it to Sarah Palin to utterly mangle the Brexit debacle in Europe by not only falsely equating it with American independence, but adding a completely insane conspiracy theory about a 'One World Government'. 

Palin posted this latest little rant on her facebook page in the wake of the British public's vote to leave the European Union:

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another...
The UK knew - it was that time. And now is that time in the USA.
The Brexit referendum is akin to our own Declaration of Independence. May that refreshed spirit of sovereignty spread over the pond to America's shores!
Congratulations, smart Brits. Good on you for ignoring all the fear mongering from special interest globalists who tend to aim for that apocalyptic One World Government that dissolves a nation's self-determination and sovereignty... the EU being a One World Government mini-me.
America can learn an encouraging lesson from this.
It is time to dissolve political bands that connect us to agendas not in our best interest. May UN shackles be next on the chopping block.

A couple of things worth mentioning in response to this nonsense:

1. The Brexit referendum was not in any way "akin" to America's Declaration of Independence. Britain was already independent, and has been a unified sovereign state since 1707. It joined the EU voluntarily and did not give up the right to make its own decisions about its own political destiny (hence the referendum). Conversely, America was a British colony and went to war to gain its independence. 

There are literally no historical parallels whatsoever. 

2. If there was any fear mongering, it certainly wasn't coming from the pro European crowd. The Brexit campaigner engaged in a horrible campaign of smears and propaganda, picking on immigrants and lying to the British public about the benefits of leaving the EU -- all of which have now been exposed in the wake of the decision. 

3. As for "That apocalyptic One World Government" -- Sarah Palin is spot on. Because everyone knew that the political and economic union created in the wake of two devastating world wars that decimated much of Europe was actually a dictatorial socialistic cabal bent on taking away people's guns and forcing them to learn about evolution. The peace and huge prosperity that has existed in Europe because of the EU and the United Nations has been a giant distraction to disguise the real intent of this 'mini-me' world government. 

Thank God we have politicians like Sarah Palin to warn us about them...
