Listen up, America: Sarah Palin is starting a news channel to solve America's problems.
For a mere $9.95 a month, you'll get to hear about the world without the "media filters" Sarah Palin has spent a career fighting against (other than the filters she demands when reporters ask questions she doesn't like - but whatever!).
"Together we'll go beyond the sound bytes, and cut through the media's politically correct filter," says Palin in her promo."We'll talk about the issues the mainstream media won't talk about". And ever the anti establishment renegade, Palin aims to avoid "things like Washington DC's crony capitalism," by "going around all that."
According to Varietywe have Glenn Beck's The Blaze to thank for this new force in American media:
The conservative pol’s online network is modeled on TheBlaze, the online-video network and website that ex-Fox News host Glenn Beck launched in 2011. TheBlaze TV is now also carried on Dish Network and regional cable systems.
Of course, Palin's channel will be nothing like The Blaze, a childish parody of a news site that combines BuzzFeed-style headlines with conspiratorial rantings about End Times. Instead, it will combine the high brow intellectualism she's known for with a commitment to "finding solutions" to save America from socialized medicine and immigrants. From the looks of the trailer, subscribers will also be treated to footage of moose and Sarah Palin writing things on her hand.
Get ready for solutions, America!
