One of the biggest grievances Washingtonians have with the spectacular show House of Cards is that while it's set in Washington DC,  it's mostly filmed in Baltimore because of financial reasons/getting film permits in DC is a pain the ass. However, the one thing they hold on to dearly is the fact that the opening credits are a beautiful cinematic postcard of the District.

The Washington Post has even released a little "pin the tail on the donkey" game for astute fans of the show/Washingtonaphiles to prove that they really know the ins and outs of DC that are shown during the opening scene.

You can try your luck here, but be warned, it's pretty tricky; I live there and I still only got a B - .
