Last week, The Washington Post posted a pretty scary graphic that showed all the organizations that are directly or indirectly funded by a network set up by the Legion of Doom , I mean the Koch brothers.

What's even more terrifying though is that a lot of this money has been essentially laundered, meaning financiers of these operations remain mostly anonymous. But this network has outspent all other independent conservative groups in 2012, raising at least $407 million and funneling it to conservative campaigns across the nation.

The graphic itself is pretty robust, and it's worth poring over for a few minutes, but the long and short of it is, the Kochs have ensured that almost half a billion dollars are being funneled into deceptively-named organizations to promote their extreme political agendas.
