Reading Makes Sarah Palin's Head Hurt Real Bad

When Sarah Palin weighed in on the Duck Dynasty nonsense, she tweeted, "Free speech is an endangered species. Those ‘intolerants’ hatin’ and taking on the Duck Dynasty patriarch for voicing his personal opinion are taking on all of us." Among other problematic things in that tweet, Palin didn't actually read what Phil Robertson said.

Uh-huh. Among other silliness, Palin didn't actually read what Phil Robertson said.

“I haven’t read the article. I don’t know exactly how he said it,” Palin said Monday on Fox News’s “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.”

Of course she didn't read it. Deciphering all of those squiggly lines is hard and makes her head burn.

But seriously, Robertson could've said something way worse -- maybe suggesting that gay people should be castrated or that African-Americans should be lynched, etc, and Sarah Palin still would've defended him with her usual misinterpretation of the First Amendment.
