I won't speculate as to what's going on behind the scenes, but considering how, throughout the special election process, Lonegan conducted an unsuccessful whisper campaign to insinuate that Cory Booker is gay, it's not unfair to wonder what the hell that was all about. Coupled with his tea party politics, New Jersey voters helped us to dodge a bullet by keeping that guy out of Congress.
