Cory Booker Slaps Down Anti-Gay Marriage Protestor In Serious Style

In the first ever gay marriage in the state of New Jersey, Newark Mayor Cory Booker officiated the marriage between two of his friends at City Hall at 12:01 a.m. this morning. Following the law, Booker asked whether there was anyone present who objected to the union of the two men. Sadly, a gigantic douchebag fundamentalist Christian looking to disrupt the ceremony started shouting “this is unlawful in the eyes of God!”.

Booker’s response was nothing short of brilliant:

    Those who believe that the tribalism of the Old Testament trumps even their OWN professed belief in Jesus who preached full equality and inclusion are simply pitiful. They also fail to accept the separation of church and state embedded in the Constitution. That heckler was righteously subdued and removed – MYOB and stay out of other people’s lives, beliefs, faith, civil existence.
