"McCain First, Country Last, War Forever"

There was a point in time when McCain was a fairly interesting politician. He was unpredictable, often in good ways, and seemingly pretty straight. Now, he's a national joke living out the last days of his political relevancy by causing as much damage to his country as humanly is possible.

John McCain

John McCain and Vets For Freedom

Andrew Sullivan weighs in on McCain's anti Putin op ed piece in Pravda:

Directly and personally impugning the president of Russia in a Russian media outlet is the act of an impulsive ego-maniac who is perfectly willing to sabotage his own country’s recent deal with Putin to get some publicity for himself.

McCain First, Country Last, War Forever. That’s his motto. After the last ten years, it isn’t just repellent. It’s recklessly dangerous.

As I stated in today's mailbag, I genuinely see McCain as being the most dangerous man in America today. He's obviously still smarting from his loss to Obama in '08, and genuinely believes he should be President. Not only is he injecting himself into US foreign policy when not in power, at the age of 77, he is still running around in Syria talking to rebel groups trying to exacerbate civil war. The disdain he is showing for his own government is remarkable, and as an elder statesman, McCain should be utterly ashamed of himself.
