    Your survey assumes your readers have a preference in what ads they see. So if any of your readers are like me, and have absolutely no preference, your survey has no way to register that.

    I utterly ignore ads. I honest-to-god have no idea what ads show up on the sites I visit. I know they’re there, but I’m less aware of them than I am of the background traffic noise from the highway five blocks away.

    So supplied by Google or “more focused” makes literally no difference.
