Poor Bobby Jindal - the man had now chance following Obama's sublime speech, and has been universally panned for his robotic, charmless rebuttal. Even members of his own party slammed the speech. Charles Krauthammer had the following comment:
Jindal didn't have a chance. He follows Obama, who in making speeches,
is in a league of his own. He's in a Reagan-esque league. ... [Jindal]
tried the best he could."
The Republican Party's insistence of putting any ethnic minority up against Obama will continue to be fruitless if they don't have any discernable talents. Richard Steele and Bobby Jindal are both politically uninspiring and devoid of serious ideas. If they represent the future of the Republican party, Obama looks set to dominate the political scene for the next four years, and win a gigantic landslide in 2012.
