Will Hutton on Government's inability to control the super rich. Hutton writes that according to former US deputy under-secretary of commerce for international trade David Rothkopf, there are 6,000 of CEOs of major corporations, partners in
hedge fund and private equity companies, national and religious
leaders, global public intellectuals, military leaders
and cultural figures that control oil, money, intellectual property,
technology and the media. They frame public debate, control economic policy and have rigged a system that works only for them.
